Rosendo Lugo died peacefully in Oklahoma City on August 12 at the age of 68. Rosendo is survived by his wife, Maria Carolina, his 3 children: Rogelio, Martha, and Araceli, his 7 grandchildren: Tania, Leonardo, Erick, Fatima, Monzerrat, Kate, and Miguel, his sister Amalia; and his brothers Trinidad and Angel. He is preceded by his parents Trinidad and Paulina; his sister Carmen; his brothers Hilario and Victor. Rosendo Lugo was born in Durango, Mexico on May 21, 1952, to Paulina Garcia, and Jose Trinidad Lugo. After finishing school he accomplished his dream of traveling to the United States, which later was his second home. In 1976 he Married Maria Carolina, his hometown soulmate. The couple welcomed 3 children: Rogelio, Martha Carolina, and Araceli, Into their home. Rosendo set about teaching them faith, ethics, and values. His children remember him as a loving father, humble and honest man, unstoppable, hard worker, warrior, strong Oak, and a hero who always encouraged them to pursue their dreams and be good people. Don Rosendo was an intelligent humble man with a vivid passion to fix and sell electronics. His charismatic personality and sense of humor led him to be respected and to be in the heart of many people in the community. People who knew him for a long time saw him as an example of dependability, hard work, and a drive to never give up. Rosendo remained strong as an oak, even throughout his finals weeks. He will be deeply missed and living in the hearts of his loved ones. Rosendo requested to be cremated. His ashes will be sent to his first home, in Mexico.
