Robin Michelle Hoyl

February 2, 1970 — March 29, 2024

Robin Michelle Hoyl, 54, died on Friday, March 29, 2024, in Woodward, Oklahoma Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Arrangements are by Shaudts Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service. Robin was born in Orange, California on February 2, 1970. She attended school in Oklahoma, where she excelled in gymnastics and singing. Robin suffered from various health issues throughout her life, but rarely let it get her down. She was so proud of her daughters, Lekea and Erica, and the beautiful, caring women they have become. She loved her family dearly, including her spiritual one, and always wanted to do things to make memories with them. She loved animals, especially her dogs Babe and Sable. In her final papers that she left, she said: “I would like to say, Looking forward to having some fun in Paradise! Where all our voices will praise Jehovah for his deliverance!”Robin enjoyed singing, dancing, joking, and going out to eat, but her favorite thing to do was to tell others about the wonderful future that Jehovah had promised. She was baptized on July 24, 2021, during the Covid lockdown. She was able to auxiliary pioneer for the first time recently and I brought great joy to her heart. A neighbor of hers wrote to Robin about how she loved their friendship and Bible talk and appreciated how Robin always used the Bible to guide her in the right direction. Robin was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Joyce Smith and a sister AmyJoanne Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Lekea and husband Kevin Koehn of Weatherford, and Erica Hoyl of Fletcher, OK, one sister Pamela and husband Donald Wright of Woodward, OK, two brothers, John Smith of Weatherford, OK, and Charlie Smith of Borger, TX. Seven grandchildren, Jayden Hoyl, Douglas and Katie Lee, Evan, Kirsten and Jax Janssen, and Lily Hoyl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be at the Kingdom Hall in Woodward at 2429 Kansas Ave Woodward OK. (Day and Time have not been set)
