Krissi Nicole (Nashert) Redding passed away unexpectedly Aug. 8, 2020 at the age of 33. She was born Nov. 3, 1986 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Raymond Nashert and Sherri Beth Reeves. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020. At Portland Baptist Church, located at 1301 N. Portland Ave. In Oklahoma City, with reception to follow at Will Rodgers Park. Krissi was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter and friend. She had a beautiful soul, a bright light to anyone who knew her. The kind of person you could call or ask for anything. She always had a smile and made everyone laugh. She was loving, beautiful, smart and creative. Krissi enjoyed family get-togethers, spending time with friends, OU football games, cooking, music and movies. But most of all she enjoyed being a mother. " Loving someone you don't see every day is not a bad thing. Its just proof that love is not in sight but in the heart." Being a mother was an honor to Krissi. She adored all four of her children, they were her whole world. When she would gaze into their little faces you could see her radiate pure joy. It was an unconditional love and bond that can never be broken, even in her death. They are her living legacy. Krissi is survived by her four children, Karly Redding, Kaiden Redding, Kensleigh Redding & Timber Hancock; parents, Robert & Cindy Nashert; sisters, Ashley & Kimberly Nashert; brothers, Casey & Jason Nashert; grandfather Don Nashert; grandmother Sona Smith; nieces, Kylie & Laci Dawkins; nephews Ryder Widler, Tre & Chance Murray, And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and other loving family and friends. Krissi is preceded in death by her mother Sherri Nashert; grandparents Seebren & Bettie Reeves, Joe Moore; uncles Seebren Reeves, Mario Briceno. Krissi will be dearly missed by all those who loved and knew her.
