Charles David Coburn Jr.

Charles David Coburn, Jr., passed away suddenly at his home in Tulsa, OK on January 19, 2022, from an
unexpected onset of illness. Chuck was a graduate of Muskogee High School and had a long career as a
salesman.
He will be remembered for his warm smile, his passion for all things NASCAR and Harley Davidson, and
his love of rock music. Having the nickname by some as “Big Chuck” fit his big heart, his desire to help
others, and matched his physical stature.
Chuck loved his Native American ancestry and culture passed on to him through his mother Judy Hill,
grandmother Lahoma Bates, and great-grandmother Alice Schoonover, all had preceded his passing. He
was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Chuck was survived by his son Cameron, his sister Kimberly Coburn Bush, husband Ken, and their
children Logan and McKenzie Bush, his brother Christopher, and his children Wesley, Courtney, Caleb,
Trevor, and Amy Coburn, step-father Jim Hill, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A small private memorial will be held with family.
