Alfred Laverne McClain Passed away on Monday, May 28th, 2018 He was Born August 12, 1937 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Robert and Georgia McClain Alfred was one of 4 children. Sister - Linda Huelsenbeck, Two brothers, Kenneth and Leon McClain They lived in Sand Springs, Oklahoma most of his life His Trade was a Machine Operator He had 3 daughters Sherry Jackson, Torianna Karman married to Tim Karman, and Cindy Simmons married to Jake Simmons. He had 1 son: Roy Lillard married to Sherry Lillard He was a loving grandfather who had 8 grandchildren: Tim & Sam Jackson, Alisha Jackson, Becky & Caleb Carter, Jeff & Gladys Raney, Lacy Raney, Heather & Manuel Mejia, and Tyler & Jessica Lillard. 12 Great Grandchildren: Cayden, Havyn, & Logan Carter, Casey, Alaynnah, & Conner Duncan, Miyha Raney, Deserae & Anthony Mayette, Jeremy, Enk, and Nik Mejia, and Kendall & Landon Bratton. 2 Great Great Grandchildren: Aiden and Athena Sisemore. Alfred was in the Navy Sept. 16th 1954 - Oct. 30th, 1957 He served on the USS Curtis, USS Saratoga Rooster, USS Oriskany & USS Hancock Alfred received the Ambassador of Peace Award in 2017 for serving in the Korean War. His hobbies included Woodworking, Fishing, and Playing his harmonica with His Loved ones. He loved playing WaaHoo, (the family game) and had a unique way of winning. Alfred McClain will be fondly remembered for his outgoing personality, his generosity, and always thinking of helping others.
